DIVINE INTERVENTION
Last year we sold our old van to a man that wanted to live in it while he worked as security for a construction site. My husband sold it without the spare tire which he wanted for our new to us van which came without a spare.
In December we drove to Southern California. Our plans were to tour around Arizona and California for a few months before heading home to western Canada. It was not what the universe had planned for us.
In January we ended up heading for my moms in Alberta, Canada. On the way I fell and broke my arm in Fillmore, Utah. We drove home instead. But that's another story.
The van got us home but clearly needed fixing. It sat until July when my husband finally took it in for repairs. We took it on a test trip 2 hours away. Back to the mechanic when we got home. A couple of weeks later we took it on another test trip. All was fine this time. Our plans were to drive it to Alberta to visit mom.
While out shopping one day, we met the man that bought the old van. He had some questions about the van, one being about where to get a spare tire. My husband said he would look for one for him.
Before heading to the local auto places, he decided to take measurements of the tire on our van. That's when he discovered that it doesn't fit our van. We were without a spare the whole time.
We feel truly blessed that the universe has been taking such good care of us, having us in the right place at the right time.
Now I am wondering if that's the purpose behind breaking my arm. Another life lesson about trusting that everything has a reason and purpose.
